The Instructors at Cal-Trade have several years of on-the-job training as well as a Certificate of Authorization for Service from CCPVE for Instructors.
Known job openings in the field are provided to each student upon completion of the course. The school maintains an active list of known vacancies and assists the student in obtaining an interview with employing personnel.
We offer Financing, Financial Aid, and also accept VA GI Bill students. If you were injured on the job and are receiving workers compensation benefits you may qualify for training.

We provide curriculum devoted to career-related subjects and tasks enabling students to acquire knowledge and skill in course work that relate to their future employment.
Individualized Hands On Training
We at Cal-Trade Welding School, provide our students with up to date welding techniques that prepares individuals for a variety of welding jobs. The course trains you for stick, TIG, and three wire feeds processes that are being used in today's modern world. When you finish you'll be a certified welder ready to work on bridges, buildings, and shop work of all kinds.

Cal-Trade Welding School of Modesto was granted institutional approval by the Council for Private Post-secondary and Vocational Education (CPPVE) pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) section #94311. The council's approval means that the institution and it's operation comply with the standards established under law for occupational instruction by Private Post-secondary educational institutions. Institutional approval is reviewed/renewed every 5 years.
